If you are planing to clean your driveway and thinking about doing it yourself, please have a look at our easy to follow Step by Step DIY Guide. In the following example we are going to show you how to remove any oil stain, clean the driveway and what are the best products to work with.

We are going to use Diggers Degreasing Fluid (Solvent Base) to remove the oil stains from the surface. Diggers Degreasing Fluid is an oil and grease remover product and can be used on Driveways and Garage Floors.

To complete the project we are going to use a Petrol High Pressure Cleaner Machine with Turbo Nozzle (3000 psi) to pressure wash the area. Pressure Cleaner Machines (3000 psi) can be hired from many companies on a daily bases. It is worth hiring a machine and get a better result then purchasing some cheap pressure cleaner at your local store. They are powerful machines and were designed for projects like that. It could also save you some time if you are working with a professional pressure cleaner machine.

Once you have a pressure washed driveway it can be sealed to protect it from further damage. There are various products available on the market today to seal driveways. BERGER Jet Dry AquaTread Concrete Sealer (Clear) is a really good quality product. It was designed for areas where you have heavy traffic.

Driveway Cleaning:

Step 1:

	Remove any items that would be in your way such as; loose debris, litter, kids toys, cars and any other items.

Step 2:

	Use Diggers Degreaser Fluid (Solvent Base) on the stains, oil stains you have. Wait a few minutes and wash the area with clean water using a garden hose or the pressure cleaner. If you still see the stain, repeat the process.

Step 3:

	Now use the Petrol High Pressure Cleaner to wash the driveway. The cleaner has to be at least 3000 psi. If it is less then 3000 psi you will not get the required result. Also keep in mind that you do not use more then 4000 psi because it may damage the surface. Simply go over the whole area until you finish. You can also attach the Turbo Nozzle onto your pressure cleaner and use it on the stains, oil stain. The Turbo Pressure Wash Nozzle will direct the water flow onto the surface with a very high narrow stream. This will easily remove any dirt from the surface.

Step 4:

	Once the area is pressure washed and clean, you may consider resealing it to protect it from further damage. BERGER Jet Dry AquaTread Concrete Sealer is a really good quality product. It was designed for areas where you have heavy traffic. Feel free to use it on your driveway for additional protection.
